Booking a hotel or shortlet in Nigeria has always been harder than it should be. Fake listings, failed payments, no-shows, and zero accountability were the norm.
LarnaStay changes that. With mandatory host verification, secure payment processing, WhatsApp booking confirmations, and a loyalty programme β we make every booking simple, safe, and rewarding.
What We Stand For
Every host goes through identity verification before their listing goes live. Every payment is secured by Paystack and Flutterwave with buyer protection built in.
Hosts keep the largest share of every booking. We charge a modest commission, pay out within 7 business days, and provide tools to grow their business β not just list.
We support Paystack, Flutterwave, mobile money, and Pay on Arrival β because most of Africa still deals in cash. We meet our guests and hosts where they are.
LarnaStay started in Nigeria but our ambition is continental. Every feature we build is designed to scale across Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and beyond.
Our Journey
Frustrated by the lack of a reliable, locally-focused platform for Nigerian accommodation, the team at Smartsync Technologies began building LarnaStay.
Months of development produced a full-stack booking engine, verified host programme, loyalty system, and property management tools.
LarnaStay launched officially on larnastay.com β a Nigerian domain for a Nigerian product. First verified hosts onboarded across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
Growing coverage to Ibadan, Enugu, Calabar, and planning expansion to Ghana and Kenya. Series A fundraising in view.
